Wild walk
We will meet at Forest Hill Park on Sunday, January 14th at noon. We will walk the trails and stop to talk about some noteworthy plants that can be found in this park, as well as culinary and medicinal uses and some basic botany terminology. This park is also the home of Dugway Brook which runs through a culvert in this park. I am involved with a project working towards this stream revival and we will be discussing what citizens can do to help urban streams in peril like this one. It is supposed to be in the mid-30s and potentially snowy this day so come prepared. Plant walks usually last 1 and a half hours although I am happy to spend longer with individuals who are interested. I also suggest a donation of somewhere between $15 and $25 for my plant ID classes. Thanks and I look forward to seeing you!!
